Bored at Work!!!

Hey all!!!

So this is just me trying out a different blogger app on my iPad to see if it is easier and more fun and neat to use!! And to let you know I haven't forgotten about my blog already lol. I am so excited I went to Walmart last night to get a smart cover for my iPad and also got a dock and a new pink sundress for 12$! Lol I saw it and just thought that it was so cute that I had to have it! My next goal is to get a really cute white watch and some pink make up since I don't have any right now which actually surprised me because I for sure had thought that I had at least something that was close to pink.. I think I might've lost it though because it is no where to be found.

My iPad smart cover is the green one. I originally wanted red and I still do but Walmart didn't have red and the red was 69$ while the green was 39$ so I saved 20$ on it. I am now awaiting my special back cover for protecting the back of my iPad and the screen protector that I get with that. I am so nervous about not having something on the screen! I have the worst luck ever in the history of man and so I am being super super cautious about making sure I take care with my iPad right now. I am so ex tied to be going to Spain and I am still nervous about my bad luck kicking in and then me not being able to go this year and having to wait until next year. Which could totally happen to me. But I do have a super awesome schedule picked out here for fall 2011 at ISU and I actually like it a lot!

Ok well I suppose I better get back to work now! lol,

iPad 2!!!!

Hey All!!!! I finally got my iPad 2!! it came today and no one was up to get it so they left a note on my door about trying again tomorrow!! I was so excited however that i chose not to wait and called the fed ex people to see where it was being held and whether or not it was in ames. It was in ames and so I called my best friend and had her map quest it for me so i could find it an I went on a little adventure to get it! I arrived at the fed ex center and picked my package up successfully and I am now blogging from it successfully! I am so excited that I am finally able to explore it with all the apps I had gotten to try and it is just as amazing as I had thought it would be! I also got a wireless keyboard with it that I am using right at this moment to type this entry up with! I am so excited!!

I also at my last study abroad meeting with our small group found out that i would have a roomie and how it would be! I am so excited! she is a very nice girl and I am looking forward to having her as a roomie a ton!

I am looking forward to my next study abroad meeting which will be tuesday of next week and we will be having a panel of past kids who have gone and asking them questions and them giving us tips to a successful study abroad experience. I am looking forward to writing again soon hopefully!! Have a great rest of the week!! :)

Acceptance of the Program!

Officially I have been accepted as of march 22nd!  I am so excited!!  at first on the 15th when the app was originally due it actually ended up saying that it was not accepted.. I was so bummed. but then my program coordinator sent me an email with answers to some questions I had about my visa and then i was confused because the program coordinators know who is going and all that. I asked her about it and she said she didn't know why it had said that. about 4 hours after it said not accepted it changed to deadline extended and finally after almost a week of that it was all sorted out and I have been officially accepted to the program for the next academic year!

I have gotten my new dufflebag suitcase, my carry on, a super awesome sleeping bag and travel size pillow, I am now looking into getting a new computer before I go so that I wont have to worry about someone else having to order it for me. I also am really hoping I can get enough money saved up so I can buy a nice camera.. but i haven't decided yet :)

Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soooo tomorrow I am going with my dad to get an iPad 2!! I am so excited and realllllly looking forward to it!!  I have received my new dufflebag/suitcase, Carry on bag, and my new messenger bag all for my trip!!!  even though it is still 5 months away I am so excited I just couldn't wait to get them! I also got a pair of Toms shoes and I ordered a couple stylus things for my soon to be new iPad!!!      ok well I cannot concentrate on anything more right now so ill have to get back to this later.

pre-preparation!!!!!!!!

    I have received several e-mails about applying for my visa since I will be in Spain for 10 months. My new dufflebag(suitcase) has arrived at my moms house and I will be getting an ipad soon. I already want to pack for leaving! I still have a few more items to arrive at my mom's house and I have begun thinking about what shoes I should take! it will probably take the next 6 months just to decide! I have recently purchased some Toms shoes and I am thinking about taking them. Something I can wear that wont come off but still slips on and off easily enough.

     I have been trying to decide about buying a new laptop over in Spain or having someone bring me one when they come visit me. I am not the most technical person ever. I have not yet decided what I should pack yet or if I should take purses or not!

Excitement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          I am soooooo excited about going to Spain in September! (I like to say the month because saying next year sounds so much farther away!)  I had my first meeting today for study abroad and it made me even more excited to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I met 6 other students who are also going to be going and at least 3 or 4 of us are planning on flying over together hopefully a few days early so we can do some sight seeing in Madrid before heading to Caceres and starting classes.  I will be getting a visa because I will be there for more than 90 days and we were told it is very cheap to fly between countries so we can go pretty much anywhere on weekends! A weekend in Greece sounds like it could be pretty nice!

        I probably wont be on here too often before I head to spain but I do plan to post everytime I get more information about what the trip will be like and everything! Keep in touch!!!!!!!!!!!!
